UDAAP Policy


1. Policy Overview: Lendo is committed to upholding the highest standards of honesty, transparency, and fairness in all of its business practices. This UDAAP Policy outlines our approach to preventing unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Compliance with Laws: We adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations that govern unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices, including but not limited to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
3. Prohibited Practices:

  • Unfair Practices: We do not engage in any practices that may cause substantial injury to consumers, which consumers cannot reasonably avoid, and which are not outweighed by countervailing benefits to consumers or competition.

  • Deceptive Practices: We avoid any misrepresentation, omission, or practice that is likely to mislead a consumer acting reasonably under the circumstances. All our communications and advertisements are clear, truthful, and accurate.

  • Abusive Practices: We refrain from any practices that materially interfere with a consumer's ability to understand a term or condition of a financial product or service. We also avoid taking unreasonable advantage of a consumer's lack of understanding, inability to protect themselves, or reasonable reliance on us to act in their interests.

4. Training and Awareness: All employees of Lendo receive regular training on UDAAP principles, ensuring they understand how to identify and avoid unfair, deceptive, or abusive practices.
5. Monitoring and Auditing: We conduct regular internal audits and monitoring to ensure compliance with this UDAAP Policy. Any potential violations identified are addressed immediately.
6. Consumer Complaints: We maintain a robust process for receiving and responding to consumer complaints, which includes investigation of potential UDAAP concerns.
7. Enforcement and Corrective Action: Any violations of this policy will result in appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. We will also take necessary corrective actions to remedy any harm caused by UDAAP violations.
8. Policy Review and Update: This policy is reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving laws and regulations related to UDAAP.
